Jimmy D. Sandy

Jimmy D. Sandy, 72, of Weirton, died Thursday July 9, 2015 at the Weirton Medical Center. He was born July 13, 1942 in Weirton, a son of the late Homer and Lucy (Ball) Sandy. He was also preceded in death by brothers Bill Sandy and Russel Jones, sister's Betty Cartwright and Velma Hearn and one niece. Jimmy retired from Weirton Steel after 30 years of service. He enjoyed watching t.v., gambling and walking his dog Lightening. He is survived by his sister Connie Sandy of Weirton, nephew John Jones, four nieces, his dog Lightening and his three cats Miss Kitty, Big Boy and Callie. In accordance with Jimmy's wishes there will be no visitation. Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
