John Adam "JB" Burdette, 61, of Weirton, WV passed away 5:06 AM, Saturday August 8, 2015, at his home. Born on August 10, 1953, in Weirton, WV, John was a son of Betty L. Roush Summers of Weirton, WV, and the late Denver Paul Burdette, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his step son, David Saunders, and a sister, Georgia Burdette. John worked many jobs including Weirton Steel Corporation and Weir Cove Taxi. He served in the United States Army, and volunteered his time as a Boy Scout Leader. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his step dad. In addition to his mother, John is survived by his significant other of 24 years, Tinna Adams, with whom he made his home; his two sons, Bradley James and Brian Michael Burdette of Weirton; two brothers, Denver Burdette of Steubenville, and James L. Fox of Weirton, WV; two sisters, Mary Burdette Becker of Weirton, WV and Kathleen Burdette Kuschel of Boardman, OH; a step daughter, Ashley Saunders Johnson; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 4- 6 PM Monday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be held at 6 PM. Military Services will be held following the service.
