John Blaine Anderson

John Blaine Anderson, 66, of Weirton, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2005 at the Weirton Medical Center.
Born April 28, 1938 in Coburn, WV, he was the son of the late George K. and Genevieve Howe Anderson. John was also preceded in death by a grandson George B. Anderson.
After 33 years of service, John retired from Weirton Steel where he worked as a Brakeman on the Railroad. He was a member of the WSX 25-Year Club and V.F.W. 2716.
John’s survivors include his wife Wilma Jean (Boley) Anderson of Weirton, whom he married October 19, 1957; sons David Anderson and his wife Barbara of Scott Depot, WV and George Anderson and his wife Karen of Weirton; daughters Catherine Anderson and Mavis Kukich both of Weirton; brothers Charles of Moundsville, George, James, Jerry and Thomas Anderson all of Weirton; sisters Polly Hoover of Colliers, Daisy Harmon, Patsy Lancaster and her husband Allen, Rhonda Swiger and her husband John A., and Diana Rice and her husband Chuck all of Weirton; 6 grandchildren Joshua, Amber, Ashley, Jarrod, Ashton and Brandon; 4 great-grandchildren, Jorden, Joselyn, Joshua, and Leah; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be conducted at 11:30AM on Thursday. Interment will be at Paris Cemetery in Paris, PA.

Wilma and family I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I always thought Johnny was a very nice person and he will be very much missed.Just know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time and always.
