On behalf of all of us at Starvaggi Industries, Inc., we wish to offer our heartfelt condolences to John’s family. All of us worked alongside John over the years and we truly miss him. As the obituary says, John was a gentle man who was also a gentleman. That is how we remember him as well. The Employees of Starvaggi Industries, Inc.
Jean, John and Philip – Sad to learn of John’s passing. Joyce and I send our thoughts and prayers and feel awful about not being in Weirton today. I have nothing but very fond memories of John. John treated me like a third son, was always kind, interested, helpful and fun to be with. John wanted the best for Jean, John and Philip; Nick and Stella, too! John was very family centric and quite loyal to his family and friends and to Starvaggi Industries. John was a hard worker! He loved the yard work that Jean directed, perhaps more often than not! No doubt that John would much prefer to be golfing than working in the yard! John was a classy man, a good looking man, always dressed well, drove nice cars and certainly kept one of the best looking ladies in Weirton by his side! I am sad that I did not get one last conversation with John in this world. I miss the good old days! Life was simple back in 60’s and 70’s! May God Bless all of you! With love, J&J
We are so very sorry to hear this sad news. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
I am very sorry to read of the loss of, Mr. Colangelo. He was a very faithful and dedicated man, married for 63 years! I won’t pretend to know what you’re going through, but what has helped me deal with the loss of those I love is turning to the Scriptures, something that has been a real source of comfort. One Scripture that gives me hope is, John 11:25, which says, “Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” I hope that this verse will also comfort you and, I hope you and your family can get through this difficult time. Please accept my condolences for the loss of your beloved husband, father, grandpa and friend. Sincerely, Meryl, jw.org – healingwordsforu@gmail.com
