John Pete Kallos, 85, of Weirton, WV, died Sunday November 30, 2014, at the Weirton Medical Center. Born on August 4. 1929, John was the son of the late Pete and Pearl Hadjinicolaou Kallos. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Deloris R. Bradley Kallos on February 26, 1998; and his two sisters, Mary Psaros and Dorothy Thomas. John retired from Weirton Steel, where he was an engineer on the railroad. He also retired from Hancock County, where he worked as Deputy Assessor for many years. He served his country with the United States Army. A sharped dressed man, John will always be remembered for his style. Mr. Kallos was a member of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church in Weirton. John is survived by his son, Pete Kallos of Summerfield, FL; his two daughters, Suzette Carfagna (Kim) of Weirton, WV and Lori Moore (Marvin) of Colorado Springs, CO; his three grandchildren, Ambhar Triminio (Jerry), Ashley and Julie Beatty; and his six great grandchildren, Sean, Jordan, Taylor, Elijah, Tyler, and Aidan. Visitation will be Wednesday 4-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV. Additional visitation will be held 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM Thursday at the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, Weirton. The Reverend Father Frank A. Milanese will preside. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton with military graveside services conducted by the American Legion Honor Guard. Table every monday and thursday, i wondered where my friend Little John was when i didnt see him there, i found out the following thursday the bad news, John and i had alot of fun kidding the dealers and carrying on, i think of John everyday, i worked the railroad in a steel mill also, (Republic Steel) and we shared so much when setting next to each other, My gosh i miss my Little Buddy, May God Bless you all! I have never ment any of you, but your in my thoughts, I MISS JOHN SO MUCH…
