John William Shorts

John William Shorts, 46, of Wellsburg, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at the Weirton Medical Center. Born November 11, 1959 in Weirton, he was the son of the late Theodore J. and Kathryn Kamarec Shorts, Jr. John was also preceded in death by his brother Theodore J. Shorts III. John was a bricklayer by trade. John’s survivors include his daughter Hannah Gilchrist at home; sister Cathy Keister and her husband Larry and nephew Jamie Keister all of Weirton. Friends will be received Friday 2:30-4:30PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be conducted at 4:30PM. Reverend Paul Bailey will officiate.
