Jonathan Dean Finch, 39, of Burgettstown, PA passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015, at his home. Born July 28, 1975 in Weirton, WV, he was the son of Timothy A., and Brenda (Tingler) Finch. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles and Lois Finch, and maternal grandfather, Milford Tingler. Jonathan was the owner of Finch Heating & Cooling. He formerly drove a truck for Deeter's Farm. He was a member of the Weirton Heights Free Methodist Church and Gideons International. Jonathan enjoyed bowling, camping, hunting and fishing. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Timothy and Brenda Finch, he is survived by his wife, Mandy Gaston Finch; a son, Collin Finch; sister Jennifer (Garland) Freeman all of Burgettstown, PA, his maternal grandmother, Lenore Tingler of Weirton, and his two faithful companions, Chica and Priscilla. Visitation will be held Sunday 1-3 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Additional visitation will be Monday 10AM until time of services at 11 AM, at the Weirton Heights Free Methodist Church , with the Reverend Michael Campbell officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Weirton Heights Free Methodist Church, 300 School Street Weirton, WV 26062 or the Gideons International gideons.org

  2. This such a shock about Jon. Brenda and Tim ya’ll have done such a wonderful job with raising remarkable children. I had many occasions to have talked with Jon when I lived back there. And a few times when I came back for a visit. Mandy may God touch your heart and soul to help you get through this difficult time. Your family is in my prayers now and always.
