Joseph A. Vucjak
October 11, 1927 ~ May 24, 2005
Joseph A. Vucjak, 77, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at the Inn at Wyngate. Born October 11, 1927 in West Winfield, PA, he was the son of the late Mary (Delatore) Vucjak. Joseph was also preceded in death by his wife Norma (DiCenzo) Vucjak on January 23, 1983.
Joseph retired with 48 years of service for Starvaggi Industries where he worked as a Bus Driver and for the Health & Safety Department. He was Catholic by faith and a past member of the American Legion Post 10. He served in the US Army.
Joseph’s survivors include his sons Robert Vucjak and his wife Sandy of Naugatuck, CT and Joseph Vucjak, Jr. and his wife Patty of Columbus, OH; daughter Nancy Francis and her husband Richard of Weirton and 2 grandchildren, Jessica and Stacey Francis also of Weirton.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be conducted at 10:30AM on Friday. Interment will be at St. Paul Cemetery in Weirton.
