Joseph Mario DiAngelis
August 15, 1935 ~ June 22, 2015
Joseph Mario DiAngelis, 79, of Weirton passed away on June 22, 2015.
Born on August 15, 1935, in Weirton, WV, Joe was a son of the late Lee and Jenny Columbus DeAngelis. He was also preceded in death by two of his brothers, Patsy and Dominic DeAngelis.
Joe retired from Weirton Steel after 35 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and the United States Army Reserves and retired from the Army National Guard.
A former boxer, and avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, Penguins and WVU Mountaineers Fan, Joe liked to join his friends at the Knights of Columbus for a game of bocce. In his free time, Joe found enjoyment tending to his garden. Painting pictures was his form of relaxation. But most of all, Joe will be remembered for his love of his family.
He was a member of Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus 3734; Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Assembly 1194, American Legion Post 10 and a life member of the VFW 2716.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Donna Shultz DiAngelis; his children, J.D. DiAngelis (Dawna); Tammy Wells (Greg), Vincent DiAngelis (Ella), Patrick DiAngelis (Katie), and Christine Demko; siblings Marie Zorne, Margaret Beebout, Donna McCartney, Victor Baffoni, and Maria "Connie" Tweedell; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday at Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church from 12 noon until 1:45 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held immediately after the visitation at 2 PM.
Fr. Manuel Gelido will preside.
Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion and the United States Navy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church 229 California Avenue, Weirton, WV 26062.

I grew up with these children and they will forever be apart of my life and Uncle Joe will be remembered.

He was one of kindest men in my wide family circle over the years — understanding in my own times of loss and supportive of my new directions in life. I always enjoyed spending time around him.
