Joseph Melto

Joseph Melto, 98 of Weirton, passed away at his home on Saturday, October 28, 2000. He was born on January 2, 1902 in Italy. He was preceded in death by his wife Lena Muzi Melto on July 15, 1997. Mr. Melto retired after 40 years from Weirton Steel, where he worked as a Bricklayer in the Open Hearth and was a member of the WSX 25 year club. He is survived by his 3 sons, Louis Melto, Joseph Meto, Jr. and Richard Melto and one daughter, Mrs Vincent(Mary Ann) DeLuca all residing in Weirton. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Calling hours are Tuesday from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at the Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weirton Interment will be in the Saint Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
