Joseph Pievach

Joseph Pievach of Follansbee passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Trinity Medical Center West; he was 62 years old. He was born in Steubenville, OH., on September 30, 1958. Joseph worked for the former Weirton Steel Corporation, retiring as a Bridge Operator in the Blast Furnace. He was a member of the 1976 graduating class of Brooke High School and completed the HVAC program at Penn Commercial Technical School. Joe had the special talent of being able to build or make anything. His gift was in his hands and heart. Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Eli Pievach. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Angela Petrovich Pievach, his brother Mark Pievach, sister-in-law Peggy, and his nephew Ethan with a list of beloved uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. A Private Family Funeral Service will be held Friday at the Holy Resurrection Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church. V. Rev Father Rajko Kosic will preside. Interment will be in the Serbian Cemetery, Weirton.
