Josephine A. Teresh, 70, of Weirton passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at her residence.
She was born Sept. 19, 1944 in Weirton, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Jaskiewicz) Teresh. She was also preceded in death by her brother John A. Teresh and sister Catherine Teresh Dobosz.
Josephine worked as a hairdresser at Raymond's for a number of years, upon its closing she moved to Style where she later retired from. She was a faithful member of Sacred Heart of Mary Church where she worked in the kitchen and helped with the picnic. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her sister Maryann Teresh Henderson and brother in law Richard Henderson of Weirton as well as several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 6-8P.M. at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St. Weirton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. Monday at Sacred Heart of Mary Church. The Reverend Father Tony Thurston will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.
