Josephine DeFilippis, 93 of Weirton died November 27, 2001 at the Weirton Geriatric Center. She was born November 1, 1908 in Waynesburg, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank, and her parents. She was a homemaker, and a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weirton. She is survived by 2 sons: Joseph of Weirton, and Frank of Beckley, 2 daughters: Mrs. Anthony (Bess) Castaldo of Edgewater, MD and Mrs. Stephen (Mary) Fortunato of Englewood, FL, 2 brothers: Albert Marchio of Martins Ferry, OH and Armenio Marchio of St. Clairsville, OH, 1 half sister: Rose Marie Orloski of Pittsburgh, 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be Friday at 10:00 AM at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
