Josephine E. Skrabak
November 4, 1928 ~ August 22, 2008
Josephine E. Skrabak, 79 of Smithsburg, MD, formerly of Weirton, passed away Friday, August 22, 2008 at the Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown, MD. Born November 4, 1928 in Lore City, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna Martonak Yakubisin. Mrs. Skrabak was also preceded in death by her husband Joseph Skrabak in October, 1986, daughter Mary Ann Skrabak and brothers Vince Gala, Joe and John Yakubisin.
Josephine was a homemaker, a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church and the PNA Lodge.
Mrs. Skrabak is survived by her sons Joseph and Michael of Hobe Sound, FL, James of Greenwood, IN and Kevin of Smithsburg, MD; sisters Martha Merenda of Fontana, CA, Rose Budnie and Anna Vargo both of Canton, OH; ten grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10AM Wednesday at St. Joseph the Worker Church with Reverend Father Dean Borgmeyer presiding. Entombment will be in St. Paul Cemetery.

I was sorry to hear that dear Mom/grandmother, Josephine passed away. She was a beautiful woman inside and outside. I remember going to penny-Bingo at Sacred Heart School and seeing her there all the time. You have my deepest and sincerest condolences. May God Bless All Of You and Give You All His Support.
