  5. I am sorry to hear of Joyces passing. She was a kind woman I we have had the pleasure to have known for 30 yrs. She was our landlady when we got our first apartment after we were married back in 1971. She always had a moment to talk with us when we ran into her. We will always remember her as a kind lady, and we will miss her.

  6. Joyce was a wonderful woman who had a heart of gold. She touched the lives of many people in great ways. She will be remembered always with the deepest love.

  7. We would like to express our deepest sympathy to the family of Joyce. She talked a lot about her family and really enjoyed traveling and visiting with them. She also enjoyed her travels with her dear friend, Connie Francis. We have been grooming her dogs for a few years and she had a great love for her animals. They were her children also, Keno, Misty and Penny. (They’ll miss their roast beef sandwiches) We will miss her small talk when she came to our shop. She will be remembered for a long time for her kindness and love for all. Amanda Bailey and Penny Lahr

  11. TO THE FAMILY OF JOYCE. YOU HAVE MY DEEP SYMPATHIES. I KNEW YOUR MOTHER FOR A LONG TIME. I CAN REMEMBER HER WHEN SHE CAME TO WEIRTON BECAUSE I TOO USE TO WORK AT THE M AND B MARKET. I TAUGHT HER THE ROPE ON THE MAGAZINE. MR LURIE WAS OUR BOSS AT THAT TIME. SO YOU CAN SEE WE KNEW EACH OTHER A LONG TIME. SHE WAS A FINE LADY. I TRULY GOING TO MISS HER, LOVE JANET

  12. My name is Tiffany Schepens and I am Joyce’s granddaughter. My mother was her middle daughter Diana and she passed in 2016. I have seen many comments here from 2009 and after. Well after my grandmother’s passing. I am very grateful for the posts and memories, especially after all these years. I have shown them to my children, Brady (18) and Hailey Joyce (15) so they can see how much grandma was loved. It is a great comfort to us all that she impacted so many lives and our greatest wish is to be the kind of person she was…kind, fair, and compassionate. Thank you all for the continued memories!
