Justine R. Kendrick

Justine R. Kendrick, 85 of Burgettstown, Pa. died Wednesday at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born April 4, 1916 in Oledo, Ill., a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Forish Martaus. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph S. Kendrick whom she married on October 17, 1939. Four brothers, John, Joe, Steve, and Mike Martaus also preceded her. Three sisters, Mary Lesheski, Ann Martaus, and Veronica Sopko also preceded her. An infant brother and sister also preceded her.
Justine was a homemaker and a member of AARP. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Weirton, WV.
She is survived by a son Joseph Kendrick of Weirton, WV, three daughters, Mary Ann Anderson and Mrs. Leslie Dolly Grossman both of Burgettstown, Pa., and Mrs. Robert F. Nancy Cunningham of Weirton.
She has six grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Visiting hours will be Friday, July 27, 2001, from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, WV. A vigil prayer service will be held Friday, at 2:30PM in the funeral home. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be Saturday July 28, 2001, 10:00AM at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Weirton, WV.
Entombment will be at St. Paul Cemetery Mausoleum, Weirton, WV.
