Karen Sue McCay

Karen S. McCay of Burgettstown passed away at the Weirton Medical Center on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. She was 72 years old. She was born in Steubenville, OH., on May 15, 1950, to Franklin and Anna Yuhas Hans. Karen was a kind soul who deeply loved both God and her family. She was devoted Christian, wife, and mother. She was compassionate about anyone in need, especially animals. Karen was also known to slow dance with her husband late at night. She was a proud member of the Promise of Victory Church of God in Weirton. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her husband Andrew L. McCay. Left to cherish her memory with love are her children, daughter Kristy (Todd) Spencer of Follansbee, sons Andrew McCay of Glenville, WV, Daniel (Jada) McCay of Graysville, PA., grandchildren Lucie, Colt, Mason, and Bernard, also surviving is her brother Richard Hans of Weirton. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at 6 PM at the Promise of Victory Church of God, 4215 Wells Street, Weirton. Bishop Albert Mitchem will officiate.
