Kathryn Mary Blake

Kathryn Mary Blake, 81, of Weirton passed away Wednesday November 1, 2000 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was a retired nurses aide on the surgical floor of Weirton Medical Center where she worked for 15 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Weirton and the AARP. She was born on March 19, 1919 in Green County, WV., the daughter of the late Alexander and Martha Torrance. She was also proceeded in death by her husband, Charles Blake, 2 brothers Roy and Ray Torrance and a sister Evelyn Dawson. Kathryn is survived by 1 son Terry Blake of Weirton, 2 sisters Edwina Kinda and Goldie Cline both of Weirton, 2 grandchildren Mrs. Mark (Rebecca) Reese of Weirton and Charles T. Blake, Jr. of Weirton, she is also survived by 2 great grandchildren. Calling hours are 7-9 PM Thursday and 2-4 7-9 PM Friday at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home where services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday with Rev. David Matthew Fisher officiating.
