kenneth lemasters
Kenneth E. Lemasters, Sr., 74, of Weirton, passed away Monday, December 19, 2005 at the Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born December 28, 1930 in Iuka, WV, he was the son of the late Lemon and Eliza Jones Lemasters. Kenneth was also preceded in death by his brothers Harvey, Donald, Arnold and Stanley. With 40 years of service, Kenneth retired from Weirton Steel where he worked as a fork lift operator in the Tin Mill Department. He was a member of the Kings Creek Union Chapel and the WSX 25-Year Club. Kenneth enjoyed walking and jogging. Kenneth’s survivors include his wife Dixie (Crawford) Lemasters of Weirton, whom he married December 23, 1950; son Kenneth E. Lemasters, Jr. and his wife Michele of Weirton; daughter Debra Chesney and her husband Gordon of Moon Township, PA; three grandchildren, Kasey, Garrett and Kelly Lemasters and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday 7-9PM and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00AM Friday with Reverend William Hammond presiding.
