L. Pauline Breon, 79, of Tiltonsville, Ohio, formerly of Weirton, passed away Monday, June 30, 2008, in the East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH. Born February 23, 1929 in Steubenville, she was the daughter of the late Edward Reems and Lola Lee Rich Houchin. Pauline was also preceded in death by her husband LeRoy Francis Breon on August 22, 1995, son LeRoy Breon on November 11, 1980, infant daughter Debbie Breon in 1954 and sister Violet Dondzila. Pauline was a committed Christian woman who loved her Lord, her family, and her church. She was especially fond of praise and worship music and even on her death bed requested that hymns be sung to her. She left a legacy of faith and hope to all her family and friends. Pauline was a homemaker and a member of the Weirton Covenant Church, Fort Steuben Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Ohio State Cameo Society NSDAR for thirteen years. Pauline was also a very active member of the SWBA (Steubenville Women's Bowling Association) Hall of Fame where she held positions as President, Vice-President, Secretary and Director. She is survived by her son Keith Breon of Weirton; daughters Pamela Lilly and her husband Pastor Gary of Weirton, Therese Webnar and husband Drew of Tiltonsville; sister Virginia Martin of Tiltonsville; ten grandchildren Carrie Lynn Gaskins, Terrance Patrick Bise, Kimberly McLain, Chrissy Rock, Jim Breon, April Cole, Missy Hassell, Addison Webnar, Elisabeth Webnar and Aaron Breon and 14 great-grandchildren Alisha and Richard Skidmore, Nikkie, Emmy and Ean Bise, David, Jr., Alexiss and Lee'Hannah Pauline McLain, Rochelle and Kenzie Rock, Trayvon and Sincere Cole, and David Breon, and Lynzie Breon. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where the local chapter of the DAR will conduct a memorial ceremony at 7PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be celebrated 11AM Thursday at the funeral home. Her son-in-law, Pastor Gary Lilly will officiate. Interment will be in Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville, OH.
