Larry Elmer Keenan, 71, of Colliers, WV, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 in the Life Line Hospital, Wintersville, OH. He was born March 17, 1944 in Knob Fork, WV, a son of the late Jesse Lawrence and Bertha Virginia Antil Keenan. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Howard Donley, Robert Harvey and Elwood Dean Keenan and sister Linda Kay Cunningham, as well as two nieces and 4 nephews.
With 30 years of service, Mr. Keenan worked as an electrical wireman for Weirton Steel. He was a founding member of the Voice of the Pentecost Church, a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting. He was a Vietnam Veteran who served US Army.
Larry is survived by his wife of 45 years, Karen McGrath Keenan whom he married July 25, 1970; sons Theophilus James (Kelly) Keenan of Colliers and Titus Dean (Susan) Keenan of Weirton; daughter Victoria Anne (Don) Cessna of Weirton; brothers Jesse Lloyal and Darrell William Keenan; sister Beulah Delores Ballard and grandchildren Haley, Stefanie, Garrett, Clara, Tabitha, Chesney and Abbigail and great-granddaughter Marley Jane.
Visitation will be Friday 3-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where funeral services will be celebrated 11AM Saturday. The Reverend Bob Wood will officiate. Entombment will follow in Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Mr.Keenan. I never got to meet him, But from what I’ve heard He was a very good up Righteous Man, Father and Grandfather and Friend to All . He will be welcomed into Heaven with Open Arms. May God Bless You All and See You All Through This Time of Sorrow with His Love and Blessings. My Deepest Sympathies
