Lenore Tingler

Lenore Tingler, 82, of Weirton, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 at her home. She was born January 7, 1934 in Industry, WV, a daughter of the late George Nathan and Ina Elodene Mills Maze. She was also preceded in death by her husband Milford Tingler on January 4, 2008, grandson Jonathan Finch, sisters JoAnn Maze, Nedra Miller and Linda Bailey.
Mrs. Tingler was a homemaker and a member of the former Weirton Heights Free Methodist Church. A talented artist, she enjoyed quilting, crocheting and attending craft shows. For many years, she shared her talents by teaching others how to paint.
She is survived by her son Kenneth (Audrey) Tingler of Weirton; daughters Catherine Mahan, Barbara Hatch and Sandra Tingler all of Weirton and Brenda Kay (Timothy) Finch of Burgettstown, PA; brother Ondrell Maze of Mauriceville, Texas; sister Annabelle Pleasants of Follansbee, WV; 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be celebrated 11am Saturday. Pastor Marlin Hawley will officiate. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton.
