Leota P. Ross

Leota P. Ross, 97, of Weirton, died Monday, April 28, 2003 at the Weirton Geriatric Center. She was born November 1, 1905 in Tyler County, WV, daughter of the late Jacob and Lydia LeMasters Haught. Leota was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde B. Ross, Sr. in 1969; one son, Harold E. Ross, seven brothers and two sisters. Leota was a homemaker, a member of the Cove Presbyterian Church and the Weirton Chapter 147 Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her son Clyde B. Ross, Jr. of Damascus, Ohio; sister Juanita Weekley of Middlebourne, WV; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1 from 7:00 – 9:00PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday with Rev.
