Lila M. Woodcock

Lila M. Woodcock, 87, of Weirton, passed away Friday, September 15, 2006 at the Weirton Medical Center. Born August 11, 1919 in Weirton, she was the daughter of the late Heino and Hulda Saxburg Haro. Lila was also preceded in death by her husband Harold C. Woodcock May 2, 1989.
Lila was a homemaker. She worked in the Weirton Steel Accounting Department for 3 years and in sales for Stone and Thomas Department Store for four years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Three Score Seniors and AARP.
Lila’s survivors include her daughter Charlene K. Lutz and her husband Harold of Melbourne, FL; sister Ida Douglas of Weirton; grandsons Jeff and Scott Lutz and 4 great grandchildren;a niece, Karen and Jim Morrocco of Mingo Jct, OH; two nephews, Robert Douglas, Bill and Connie Douglas and their children, Jim and George all of Weirton.
The family will receive friends Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be conducted at 11AM Wednesday. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton.
