linda wilson

Linda Louise “See” Wilson, a beloved mother, grandmother, and devoted friend, passed away on May 28, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on April 10, 1960, in Jonestown, Pennsylvania, Linda touched the lives of many throughout her journey. She resided in Weirton, West Virginia, where she dedicated her life to caring for others, embodying the spirit of compassion as an aid at Wyngate.

Linda was a nurturing soul; she embraced her role as a caregiver and fostered an environment of warmth and support for those around her. Her daughters, Lisa Chanoski (and husband Joseph), Amy Kilareski, and Jana Maynard, will remember her love and kindness. Her significant other Rick Joy will dearly miss her. Linda is also survived by her brother, Randolph See; her cherished grandchildren, LaShyia Kreischer, Cody Polashak, and Abigail Kilareski; and three great-grandchildren, all of whom were bright lights in her life.

In her leisure, Linda found joy in the simple pleasures, especially when fishing. She loved to spend time by the water, sharing her skills, particularly teaching Joseph how to fillet fish. A true animal lover, Linda devoted herself to rescuing and rehabilitating numerous animals throughout her life. Her cat was a constant companion.

Linda was not only a caregiver but also a passionate music lover. Her enthusiasm shone through when she attended a concert by her favorite artist, Alice Cooper, where she enjoyed VIP treatment and a meet and greet. With her characteristic humor and faith, she remarked, “I’m not scared because I’m going to be touching Jesus’s face.” Such words reflect the warmth and strength with which she faced life.

Linda was preceded in death by: Abraham See, Louise See, Timothy See

Per her request Linda will be cremated at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home. 3219 Main St Weirton WV 26062
