Loretta J. Miller, 72, of Weirton, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2008 in the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born January 26, 1936 in New Freeport, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Moninger Bradley. Loretta was also preceded in death by her daughter Cathy Rhoades on June 16, 2005.
Loretta was a homemaker, loving caregiver and a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband Jack Miller of Weirton, whom she married April 25, 1957; son Daniel Miller of Weirton; daughters Deborah Boniti and her husband Greg, Patricia Grubick and her husband Thomas and Jacqueline Martini all of Weirton; brother Charles Edward Bradley of Kirkland, WA; 11 grandchildren, including Brandon Orwasky whom she was raising, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Sunday 1-3 and 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10AM Monday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Florence, PA.

When my family divorced and we had nothing,, Aunt Loretta helped us out until we could get back on our feet. She was always there to lend a hand and was a loving kind person who took care of all of us in one way or another. People could learn alot from her in the way to treat others in the loving way that she did.

To my uncle Jack and his family, We are all so sad of the passing of a great and wonderful person. Aunt Loretta always found the good in all of us no matter what we did. she was fun to be around and always had a smile on her face. she gave all of us wonderful memories that will be kept dear to our hearts. I know she is wearing a crown of gold for all the hard work she put in on this earth. God sure got himself a beautiful angel! In the short time since I met and fell in love with her daughter Jackie, I only saw Loretta 2 or 3 times. She seemed like a really great, fun person, and I wish I had had the opportunity to get to know her better before she passed. My deepest condolences to her family & closest friends.
