Loretta Pearl Reed

Loretta Pearl Reed, 71, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2009 in the Weirton Medical Center. Born January 12, 1938 in Doddridge County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Garcia and Virgie Blanch Knopp Maxson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Columbus T. Reed, Jr., in 1995 and son Kenneth R. Reed.
Mrs. Reed was a homemaker and a very kind and honest person. She was a member of the Mercy Baptist Church in Weirton.
Loretta is survived by her daughter Panda D. Reed; son William L. Reed; brother Raymond L. Maxson and grandson Tony L. Reed all of Weirton.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where funeral services will be conducted at 9AM Friday. Pastor James Rhodes will officiate. Interment will be at 2:30PM in Mt. Olive Baptist Cemetery in Salem, WV.

Was sorry to hear about your Mother’s death. I know she had been ill for a long time. I know you all will miss her,but she is at peace now. Take care of yourselves. You probably don’t remember me.
