Lori A. Eckels

Lori A. Eckels, 55, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at home. Born February 8, 1959 in Weirton, she was a daughter of Dorothy Veselich Herkle of Weirton and the late John "Jack" Herkle.
A 1977 graduate of Weir High School, Lori previously worked as the receptionist for Howard Hanna Realty.
In addition to her mother, Lori is survived by her husband of 35 years, Michael D. Eckels; son Michael R. Eckels; brother Robert Herkle all of Weirton and sister Leslie Hopkins of Colorado.
In keeping with Lori's wishes, a private memorial service will be held at the convenience of her family.

There were once 8, but now there are only 7. Lori was a great daughter, mother, wife, and fierce sister. I remember riding around in the duster playing zz top on the 8 track. Lori had the cutest giggle and we all did plenty of it on our trip to virginia beach. We will all miss her soooo much. She was an angel, and we will all miss her. To her family, my deepest sympathy. Hopefully, our memories will bring a smile to your face.
