Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My granny was the best potato salad maker and grandmother in my life…..I will deeply miss her – I am just happy that she was able to live a good long life and that I was a part of her life.

  2. Lottie was always very generous with her tomatoes, which were always very good. She’s probably playing cards with Hazel right now. My sympathy to the family, she was a special lady. Loranna Tate

  3. To the Canellas & Mankowski Family: You have our heartlfelt prayers in the hour of your loss.Being absent from this body is to be present with the Lord.May God bless you. Rev.James & Debra Stone Verona Pa. 15147

  4. Mary has always been a kind and generous person. She was very good friends with my grandmother, Hazel Bohrer. My grandmother loved Mary and thought a great deal of her. I am glad to have had the pleasure of knowing her. There have been many a day where Mary, my grandmother, and I would play dominoes. I’ll bet they are playing a game right now. My heart goes out to the family that Mary so much loved. God bless and may God comfort you all during this time.

  5. My granny was the sweetest, kindest most generous woman I knew. She loved her gardening, and flowers but most of all her cats. She made the best potato salad ever and always had a smile on her face. She loved doing her hundreds of puzzles my mom would buy for her some of which she probably did twice on account my mom couldn’t remember which ones she had. I will miss her dearly especially in planning of my wedding which we talked about dancing together and polkas. I love and miss her everyday but I know she is in a better place now probably playing cards with the family. I love you granny you were amazing and will be greatly missed by many!! Love heather

  6. My Granny was the best grandmother any kid could ask for; she was kind, loving, thoughtful, caring, and all around a great person. I never saw her get mad nor did I ever hear her say a bad thing about anyone, just the opposite she always found good in people. I will cherish all the memories of our time at the beach in Galveston, eating her fabulous French toast, she also made a the best jellies from the fresh berries she grew, and most importantly I will never forget this past Christmas where she was able to meet her great granddaughter Ella. Granny lived a long and happy life and will live on with our memories and stories. I hope that you are having fun; most likely playing some bingo, show them how its done. Let’s not forget her stuffed cabbage rolls. You will be missed but never forgotten. We love you Granny. Shawn, Lora & Ella

  7. So sorry to hear about your loss. I have such great memories growing up in the N. 20th St. neighborhood. You have my sympathy at this time.

  8. The one thing I will miss is talking to her on the phone practically every day. I loved her potatoe-salad, best in the world!!! The most wonderful thing I will be waiting for is seeing her again when she is resurrected. I will miss her so much, but she will always be close to me in my heart.

  9. Sorry for your loss. You and your family are in our prayers. You are a great daughter, your mother was truly blessed…

  11. Granny was such a sweet woman. I am so soryy for the loss. I wish Ella and I could be there but we are there in spirit. This is a wonderful family and I know everyone will comfort and take care of each other. xoxo

  12. Frank,Shawn,Susan and all the Canellas and Mankowski family, it is with great sorrow to hear of the loss of Mary. After reading all the personal condolences for Mary, I remember what a wonderful person she was. I grew up with Frank and we hung out a lot and he was my brother-in-law. I cannot ever remember Mary saying anything bad about anyone. I wish I would’ve gotten a chance to try her potato salad, because it is one of my favorites.

  13. Bernice, May Jehovah comfort you during the loss of your Mother. 2nd CORINTHIANS 1:3,4
