Louis Stephen Tomich, 56, of Weirton passed away Sunday March, 29, 2015. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, to Walter and Nancy Tomich on December 17, 1958. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Louis and Hilda Tomich; his maternal grandparents, Herman and Rose Laurine; and his cousin, Brent Capozzoli. A 1977 graduate of Weir High School, Louis retired from Weirton Steel Corporation. He also previously worked for Wal Mart, in Weirton. He was a member of the Weirton Steel 25 Year Club. In addition to his parents, Walter and Nancy Tomich, Louis is survived by his sister, Rose and husband Mark Blevins of Suffolk, VA; his aunt, Elaine Capozzoli of Weirton; his cousin, William Capozzoli of Stafford, VA; his nephew, Michael Blevins of Suffolk, VA; his nieces, Melissa and husband Kyle Vitek of LosAngles, CA and Alexandra Blevins and her fianc, Robert Jenkins of Hampton, VA. Visitation and funeral were held on Thursday April 2, 2015, at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV. V. Rev Fr. Rade Merick presided.
