Luigina Pelliccione

Luigina Pelliccione, 91, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2011 in the
Weirton Geriatric Center. She was born November 19, 1919 in San DeMetrio, Italy. Mrs. Pelliccione was preceded in death by her husband Demetrio Pelliccione, two step-daughters, Maria Pelliccione and Amelia Corso and her dear friend and caregiver Hallie Ann Moss.
Mrs. Pelliccione was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by a brother and two sisters all of Italy; several nieces and
nephews, including Mary Ann Atwell of Weirton and Fernanda Capaldi of Steubenville, OH and step-son Larry Pelliccione of Florida.
Friends will be received Saturday from 8:30 - 9:45AM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral
Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, followed by the 10AM Funeral Liturgy with Mass at
St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. The Reverend Father Larry Dorsch will officiate.
Entombment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.

My paryers are with Mrs. Pelliccione. I knew her well when I served at St. Paul’s from 1990 to 1993. I recall visits to her home and the conversations that we shared. I last saw her at the Geriatric Center about two years ago but she did not remember me. May she be at peace with the Lord.
