margaret aperfine
Margie Aperfine, 72, of Weirton died Sunday January 26, 2003, at the Trinity Health System West, Steubenville, OH. She was born on June 1, 1930,in Weirton, WV, the daughter of the late Peter and Jessie Musker Aperfine. She was also preceded in death by her three brothers, Joe, Pete, and Charles Aperfine; and a sister, Jessie Wing. Margie worked at the Penn Way Pharmacy prior to her employment with the City of Weirton, where she retired after 20 years of service as a utility clerk in the finance department. Margie loved her family and enjoyed attending baseball games. She was “the number one fan” of the Mountaineer Park Palomino Baseball team. She was a member of the Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by her sisters, Mrs. Tony (Kay) Castillo of Weirton, and Mrs. Vernon (Mary) Wright of Deltona, FL; her nieces and nephews, Kathy Cross Clark, Ron and Kristin Cross, Karen Wright Dodds, Mark Dodds, Tony, Pam, T.J. and Heather Castillo, Joe, Tracey, Courtney, and Isabella Aperfine. Margie is also survived by several nieces and nephews residing outside the Weirton area. Visitation will be Thursday, January 30, 2003 from 4PM until time of memorial mass at 5 PM at Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Weirton.
