Margaret R. Pitko

Margaret R. Pitko, 93, of Weirton passed away Sunday, May 20, 2007, at Heritage Place in Weirton, WV. She was born June 6, 1913, in Youngstown, OH, the daughter of the late George and Anna Javorsky O’Masta. Her husband Anthony Pitko; brother, Frank O’Masta; sisters, Ann Schneider and Helen Kalumuck also preceded her in death.
Margaret was a homemaker, a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers and the Altar Society.
She is survived by two sons, George and Linda Pitko of Manhattan Beach, CA and Donald Pitko of Weirton, WV; brother, Tom and Eleanor O’Masta of Youngstown, OH; sister-in-law, Margie O'Masta; grandchildren Anthony Pitko and Christopher Pitko of Hermosa Beach, CA; great-grandson Colin Michael Pitko and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4-8 PM Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Thursday at Saint Joseph the Worker Church, Weirton, WV.
Entombment will follow in St Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph the Worker Church, 229 California Ave, Weirton, WV 26062.

George and family, sorry to hear about the loss of your mom, you dont know me, but you were in my mom and dad’s wedding, (marge pagur and joe olenick), well i know what sorrow is, i lost my mom 21 years ago, and my dad last month, my prayers are with you at this time of sorrow.
