I’m Mariann’s cousin Janet Porter and I have a sister Cis (Sissy) . I am shocked to find out this news about Mariann. I will pass the news on to my sister. Thank you for trying to reach us.

  2. Candle Selection 8What a beautiful person I so enjoyed our long talks at the office. stopping by in the office will never be the same. RIP my sweet friend 💖

  3. Candle Selection 8Mariann and I met each other in the mid 1970’s, when we both worked at The Personal Service Insurance Co. downtown Columbus, Ohio. It seems we became instant friends. We played backgammon on our lunch breaks. After my husband passed away, Mariann would come to Sarasota Florida with me and my daughters. We really enjoyed those days on the beach. My daughters considered her their Aunt. She was part of our family.
It is hard for me to believe I will never see her again. I miss her already

    • You made many memories of her, becoming her family. Thank you.

  4. Dear Cousin, as a child, I thought you were so sweet and sophisticated. I hated being told I was too young to play with your older kids. We both loved seeing places up close by hiking. I’ll miss chatting with you.

  5. Dear Mariann, You are my “sister” cousin. I miss you so much. I remember that we wore the same dresses at Aunt Betty’s wedding. We were toddlers. I was so surprised to see you wearing the same dress that I was wearing. Our mothers were just as surprised. I enjoyed our visits to your house and the visits we had on the phone. We would laugh until there wasn’t any air left in our lungs. What wonderful times we had. We always said “I love you” to each other when we talked. I love you Mariann.

  6. Candle Selection 8My deepest sympathy Chris, Christine and family. Mariann was such a loving, caring soul. I kniw she is safely home with the Lord!
