Marianne R. Planting

Marianne R. Planting, 78 of Weirton, WV, died Wednesday April 10, 2002 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born on June 4, 1923 in Washington, PA, the daughter of the late David and Pearl Ward Hull. Her husband, Evald Planting on May 24, 1992 and her son, Jeff England, also preceded her in death. She was an executive secretary for the Kirchiemer Company and was an owner operator in the food and beverage industry, including the former Memory Makers Club in North Weirton. Surviving, include her three daughters, Diane and her husband Bill Lockhart of Merrillville, IN; Rebecca Marzulla of Weirton, WV and Darlene and her husband, Don Cole of Indianapolis, IN; her son, Michael Bartkus and his wife, Angela of Charlotte, NC. 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren also survive her.
