Marjorie Arlene Dorrance

Marjorie Arlene Dorrance, 87, formerly of 3717 Marlamont Way, Weirton, WV died on Friday, June 14, 2002, at the Madison Rehabilitation Center, in Morgantown, WV after suffering from a long illness. She was born on May 30, 1915 in Weirton, daughter of the late Edward S. and Minnie (Bray) Dorrance. Marjorie graduated from Weir High School and attended Business College. She spent most of her professional career as a Financial Analyst for Revlon Company in New York City until her retirement. Marjorie was a charter member and former President of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority in Weirton. She was a member of Cove Presbyterian Church in Weirton. Marjorie is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters: Lucretia Dorrance McClurg, Dorothy Dorrance Evans, and Audrey Dorrance Morrison and five brothers: Harold Dorrance, Robert Dorrance, William Dorrance, Edward Dorrance, and John Dorrance. Visitation will be held from 7-9 PM Sunday at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be held 10 AM Monday with Rev. Terry Stoops officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Salineville, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cove Presbyterian Church, 3404 Main Street, Weirton, WV 26062.
