Martha L. Langford

Martha L. Langford, 89, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2009 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH. Born March 28, 1920 in Harpersville, OH, she was a daughter of the late James Vincent and Matilda McGary Hartzell. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Arthur Clark, her second husband Melvin C. Langford in December of 1998; daughter Darlene Misoyianis; brothers John, Lawrence , Raymond and Roland Hartzell and sisters Wilmetta Belon, Gladys Henebert, Esta Jane Stinard, Lucy Stinard, Ethel Murphy and infant son Encel Hartzell.
Mrs. Langford was a retired realtor and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Weirton.
Martha is survived by several special nieces and nephews, including James Hartzell and Phyllis Bodo of Steubenville, OH.
Friends will be received Friday from 9 until the 12 noon funeral services at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Pastor Terry Mohr will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.

We were fortunate to have our dear Aunt Marcee in our family. Throughout her life, she gave her nieces and nephews her full attention and unconditional love. She was our link to our own beloved parents, especially her three older brothers. Among the four of them, they called each other “Joe”. We hold them all in our hearts.
