Martha Michele Hvizdak, loving wife, mother, and Nana, passed away on June 3, 2026, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Michele was born on December 29, 1958, in Cleveland, OH.

Michele lived a life centered on family, love, and the simple joys that brought happiness to those around her. She had a deep appreciation for music and found peace tending to her flowers and watching the animals that visited her yard. Her faithful dog, Cody, was a constant companion and brought her comfort and joy.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Krystynak and Mary Holland McFall.

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Hvizdak; daughters Monica (Jordan) Reed and Tiffany (Ryan) Kuzma; son Michael Hvizdak; brother Larry Krystynak; and sister Sherri Cole, grandchildren Becca, Krissy, Mikhail, Annabelle, Amelia, and David.

Michele’s request for cremation will be honored.

She will be cremated at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home Crematory, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. 26062.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date by Michele’s family to honor her life.

The family would like to thank the caregivers, friends, and loved ones who supported Michele throughout her journey.
