Martin Buksa

Martin Buksa, 83, of Weirton, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011 at his home. Born November 18, 1927 in Wheeling, WV, he was a son of the late John and Frances Skitarelic Buksa. He was also preceded in death by his brother John Buksa and sister Pearl Belsinger. Martin retired from Weirton Steel where he worked as First Class Machinist in the Machine Shop. He was a member of the N.R.A and served in the US Navy during World War II. Mr. Buksa is survived by his wife Alba Ianni Buksa; brother Ben Buksa; sister Marie Dadasovich all of Weirton; several nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews and three great-great nieces. Friends will be received Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 12:00PM Monday at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. The Reverend Father Dean Borgmeyer will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
