Mary Ann Rujak

Mary Ann Rujak, 87, of Weirton passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013, at Brightwood Center in Follansbee, WV. Born on February 21, 1926, Mary Ann was the daughter of the late Ambrose "Lefty" McCaffery and Ilah Robertson McCaffery. She was also preceded in death by her husband Andrew S. Rujak on September 9, 2009, and a brother, William McCaffery. Mary Ann worked in the Tin Mill Payroll Department of Weirton Steel Company until her marriage and then served as a full-time homemaker and mother. She was also a member of Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church in Weirton. She is survived by her son Philip of Weirton, WV, daughters Melinda (David) Fuchs of Coldwater, MI, and Andrea (Nick) Fusco of Charleston, SC, cousin (but more like a sister) Marjorie Cowden of Eldersville, PA, and very special friends Denise (Denis) Palcic of Weirton, WV and Valerie Santangelo of Follansbee, WV. She is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Tuesday at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 PM Wednesday at Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weirton with the Rev. Fr. Larry Dorsch presiding.
