Mary Cuprik

Mary Cuprik, 94, of Weirton, died Thursday, April 10, 2003 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born June 14, 1908 in Cokeburg, PA, daughter of the late John and Mary Smandra Schervinsky. Mary was also preceded in death by her husband Joseph Cuprik, Sr. on February 13, 1977; 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Mary was a homemaker and was a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Weirton. She is survived by her sons Joseph Cuprik, Jr. and his wife Betty and Richard Cuprik and his wife Linda all of Weirton; daughters Anna Chek of Weirton and Karen Hardey and her husband Sam of Johnstown, PA. Mary also has 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Knights of Columbus Rosary will be at 7:00PM Friday in the funeral home. Blessing Services will be held at 9:30 AM, in the funeral home with funeral services at 10:00AM on Saturday at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church. Entombment will be at St. Paul Cemetery.
