Mary D. Giamos

Mary D. Giamos, of Weirton, died Wednesday, April 11, 2001 at Vencor Hospital, Oakdale, PA. She was born in Fairmont, WV a daughter of the late James and Sophia Petredias Jevas. Also preceding her in death are her husband Gust N. Giamos and sister Irene Jevas. Mary retired from Stone and Thomas with 18 years of service as a manager. She was a member of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, All Saints Senior Citizens, All Saints Agia Markella, and A.A.R.P. She is survived by a son, Nick Giamos and his wife Jan, of Weirton; a daughter, Connie Giamos, of Wintersville, OH; a brother Steve Jevas, of Fairmont, WV; and a granddaughter, Nicole Giamos, of Weirton. Visitations will be held 2-4 and 7-9 PM Friday at the Greco- Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Additional visitation will be held at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church on Saturday from 11:30AM until time of services at 12:30 PM. Interment will follow at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Florence, PA.
