mary veselich
Mary Elizabeth Veselich, 97, of Weirton, passed away February 6, 2011 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born February 3, 1914 in Ambridge, Pa, the daughter of the late Eli and Agnes Perusic Norkavich. Her husband James Veselich, two brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death. Mary was a homemaker, a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and the St. Joseph Christian Mothers. Mary is survived by two daughters Dorothy Herkle of Weirton, WV and Betty DiGiacomo and her husband Ronald of Monroe, GA; grandchildren, Bob Herkle, Lori Eckels and her husband Michael, Leslie Hopkins, Ronna York and her husband Kevin and Tony DiGiacomo; and seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, February 11, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton, WV. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be Saturday, 10 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Weirton. Entombment will be in St. Paul Cemetery Mausoleum, Weirton. Memorial contributions can be made to St Joseph the Worker Church, 229 California Avenue, Weirton, WV 26062.
