Mary Irene (Rene') Gadd

Mary Irene (Rene') Gadd 92 of Follansbee, WV passed away August 15, 2004 at Mary Ann Manor in Follansbee, WV. She was born April 15, 1912, in Farr, WV, the daughter of the late William A. and Hattie Minor Tennant. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Lee Gadd on January 28, 1963; a daughter, Karen Sue Bertram; 2 brothers, Harley and Ralph Tennant; and a sister, Mildred Bolen. Rene' was a licensed beautician and worked for 30 years before retirement. She also provided care as a caregiver. Rene' volunteered at the Saint John’s , Ohio Valley and Weirton Hospitals. She was a member of the Weirton First Church of the Nazarene, and worked with the Come Join Us Sunday School of the church. She is survived by her son William Lee Gadd of Follansbee, WV; seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren Visiting hours will be Tuesday August 17, 2004 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton, WV where services will be held 11 AM Wednesday in the funeral home. Entombment will follow at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton, WV.
