Mary Jane (Gleto) Meszaros
February 15, 1928 ~ June 12, 2007
Mary Jane (Gleto) Meszaros, 79, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at the Weirton Medical Center. Born February 15, 1928 in Somerset, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Toth Gleto. Mary Jane was also preceded in death by her brothers John and Michael Gleto.
Mary Jane worked at Denmark’s, Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel and in the dietary department of Weirton General Hospital. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church.
Mary Jane’s survivors include her sons Martin Vilga and his wife Charlotte of Colliers and Gregory Vilga of New Mexico; daughter Marlene Truax of Weirton; sister Helen Marosi of Colliers; grandchildren Nicole Cross and her husband John and Samantha and Trevor Vilga; great-grandchildren Taylor, Megan and Brooke Cross and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10AM Saturday at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Reverend Father Dean Borgmeyer will officiate. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Colliers, WV.
