Mary L. Tarovisky

Mary L. Tarovisky, a life-long resident of Weirton, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2003, at the age of 84, at her daughter's home in Wheeling. She was born to Sava and Mila Stojakovic Cuic in Midland, PA on June 12, 1919. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Tarovisky, Sr.; her brother, Peter; and sisters, Mildred and Anna. Mary was a beloved Mother, homemaker, and a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, and the Christian Mothers. She is survived by her son, Frank Tarovisky and his wife Renee of Wheeling, WV; daughters, Loraine Timpson and her husband Carl of Phoenix, Arizona, and Marie Linden and her husband David of Wheeling. Mary has seven grandchildren, Brian, Maureen and Paul Linden, Justin, Adam and Lauren Tarovisky, and Jennifer Giles. She has two brothers, George Cuic of New Manchester, WV, and Milos Cuic of Follansbee, WV; and three sisters, Lyla Dawson of Alvy, WV, Daisy Lorello of Weirton, WV and Lilly Miller of Tampa, Florida. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 3, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be Thursday, 10:00AM at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Weirton. Entombment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery Mausoleum, Weirton.
