Mary M Bahney

Mary M. Bahney 48 of Weirton passed away December 16, 2004 at her residence. She was born October 30, 1956 in Steubenville, Ohio, the daughter of Milton and Sophia Momcilovich Brdar of Weirton. Mary was self employed and owned a free lance court reporting agency for over 25 years. Over the years she worked for Judge Marty Gaughan throughout the county. She was a member of the Holy Resurrection Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church of Steubenville, Ohio, a Sunday school teacher, and she was an executive board member of the council for the Serbian Diocese. On July 21, 2004 she was tonsured as Nun Makrina. She is the loving Mother of Christopher E. Bahney of Weirton. She is also survived by her sister Georgine Tedrow and her husband Eugene of Charles Town, WV; nephew Aaron Tedrow and his wife Suzann of Sicklerville, NJ and a niece Mary Margaret Taylor and her husband James of Bethlehem, PA. Services and burial were held Friday, December 17, 2004 at the Nativity of the Theotokos, Greek Orthodox Monastery in Saxonburg, PA.
