Memories Timeline

  1. John,Debbie, and Nora, I have so many sweet memories of your Mom, there isn’t nearly enough room to begin to share them. I loved her dearly from the first time I met her. Her kindness towards me knew no end. The Massie house was always a favorite place for us kids to hang out. There was so much love and peace in your home. I am so happy that I was the recipient of one of her handmade tablecloths a few years back. It’s a cherished gift that I plan to pass down to my daughter/ granddaughter. She left a mark on my life and I will never forget her. Our prayers are with all of you and we are here if you need anything. God bless , Teresa Shingleton Barnhart

  2. Nora and Family, our thoughts and prayers are with you. With love and prayers, The United Way of Jefferson County Board of Directors and Staff

  3. So very sorry to hear about the passing of Peggy. She was a wonderful neighbor and was so kind to us when we moved into the Moore’s old house across the road on Pine Street. She was a true lady and the world will be a lesser place with her passing. Very kindest regards Stephen, Karla Pike and family.
