Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My Aunt Mary was so special to all of her family and friends. She was a my second mom. I have many, many wonderful memories of my time spent with her for as long back as I can remember. Everytime I pick up a dust rag I think of my Aunt Mary teaching me to dust the proper way and to make a bed, folding those sheets just so. Anyone who knew Aunt Mary will always remember her. She will live in my heart forever with much love.

  2. I didn’t know Aunt Mary that well, but I do have a few memories of her. I enjoyed her personality and how fun she was. I’m sorry to hear that she passed. I hope the family is doing well and I’ll keep them in my prayers.

  3. My Aunt Mary was a beautiful woman. She was great mother to my (late) cousin Ronnie and cousin Brenda. Ron was one of the oldest if not the oldest cousin on my mother’s side of the family and Brenda was one of the youngest if not the youngest cousins on my mother’s side of the family. Aunt Mary was also a great wife to my mother’s younger brother Uncle Joe. The families used to get together often to spend a Friday and/or Saturday together. Christmas Eve was often spent at my parent’s home and Christmas Day was often spent at Aunt Mary’s. The various family 8-mm home movies were often show to the delight of all. The flow of great humor, baked goods, vodka, blended whisky and beer was a given during those parties. I can remember Aunt Mary’s dog Buckie who seemed to live forever. He always got locked up in the basement whenever we visited Aunt Mary’s. He was none too happy about that arrangement and would like to sink his teeth into little hands to show his displeasure. Aunt Mary/Uncle Joe were the first couple I knew to get a color TV. Big stuff back in the early 1960’s. They could always be counted on to have a massive live beautiful Christmas tree that seemed the same diameter from floor to ceiling. I was related to Aunt Mary two ways. First she was my Aunt because he husband Uncle Joe was my Mother’s Younger brother. I was also related to Aunt Mary as her brother Alex Yazevac married my Dad John Marinacci’s youngest sister Anna. Aunt Mary will be missed. We can rejoice knowing she had a full life, bore and raised two great children and two great granddaughters.

  4. Joe, I know God will hold you in His hands in this time of loss – our thoughts and prayers are with you.
