Mary Sarap, 80, of Weirton died Tuesday May 30, 2006, at the Weirton Medical Center. Mary was born on August 22, 1925, in Weirton, WV, the daughter of the late Marco and Stella Grasso Fabianich. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Frank Fabianich. Mary retired from Weirton Steel, after 28 Years of Service, as a Lift Truck Operator, in the Tin Mill. She was a member of the Weirton Steel 25 Year Club, ISU, and the AARP. Mary enjoyed crocheting and planting flowers in her yard. She will always be remembered for being such a giving person, she much rather give than receive. She is survived by her son and best friend, Robert S. and Vicki Sarap of Weirton; her brother, Victor Fabianich of Milwaukee, WI; her granddaughters, Jennifer and Shane Curry of Sparks, MD and Amy and Jason Snyder of Martinsburg, WV; great grandchildren, Morgan and Ethan Currey. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM, at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, where funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday. Rev. William C. Stout will preside. Interment will follow at Saint Paul Cemetery, Weirton, WV Memorial contributions may be made to the Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church, 121 Ivy Street Weirton, WV 26062

  2. Bob and Vicky I will really miss Mary and the last-minute calls she made to the beauty shop. She always thought that she was bothering me, she was always so kind. I was so saddened to hear that she passed on so quickly. She loved her family so much, even the dogs, always talked about all of you so highly. Her memory will be a good one. Condolences to all. Liz
